What does not work

  • The run took 154 seconds, the longest of the three prompts here. Sites that draw the forecast with JavaScript cost more steps.
  • Two of the sources it opened at first did not publish a daily low, so it opened others. The answer names only the three it could read.
  • Weather changes. The date of the run is on this page, and the answer is what those pages said that morning.

What the run did

The run took 154 seconds and 46 steps, because the first two forecast sites did not give a daily low the agent could read. It kept opening sources until three of them had a number, then averaged those three and named them.

The answer shows the sum, not just the average: lows 7, 7 and 4 give 6 degrees, rain chances 0, 11 and 7 give 6 percent. If you disagree with the average, the arithmetic is on the page.

The run was made in Italy on the Italian pages of those sites, and the temperatures are in degrees Celsius.

Questions

Why did it open five sites to name three?

Two of them did not publish a low for the day in a form it could read, so it looked for others. The answer lists only the three that gave a number.

Can I point it at my own town?

Yes. Replace Varese with your town in the prompt. It finds the page for that town on each site.

Does it save the pages it reads?

The tabs stay in the browser on the iPhone until you close them. The chat keeps the answer and the steps, as files on the device.
